we’re bringing back these popular sessions, (formerly known as “happy hour headshots”) for the first time since the pandemic! this was born of my own desire to do more for the crises we’re seeing on a daily basis. i wanted to keep giving to organizations that were aiding refugees, fighting climate change, helping with disasters and honoring and protecting marginalized people, but also have two kids in college and such, so taking donations right off the top of my work felt like an easier way to stay consistently contributing. so the portrait parties i host for folks needing shorter sessions and a handful of gorgeous images evolved to something that also makes a little dent in the issues we care about.
the next portrait event is march 19 from 2-5 pm at a lovely, natural light studio in nw portland. and 10% of these mini- sessions will go to doctors without borders and their work in the earthquake aftermath in syria and turkey.
mini- sessions themselves are 20 minutes and the $300 includes the shoot, a little grounding together, sweet snacks and treats, and a minimum of 20 warm and lovely images of who you are. and we think you’re awfully beautiful.
